Your selection can be any genre ( fantasy, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, poetry, memoir, horror, science fiction, or the format graphica (graphic novels). Make sure that your chose novel is age appropriate, grades 5-8, and that you are choosing a book you would actually like to teach.
